Background
First is a complete guide to starting your period journey. No matter when in the menstruation experience you choose to begin with first, the kit will be able to guide you every step of the way.
First strives to tackle period stigma from the start by providing guidance to teens are their parents or guardians going through the menstruation journey, in order to normalize the conversation for present and future generations. We believe that a girl’s support system is crucial to physical and mental health during menstruation. Her experience and attitude depend heavily on her environment and the values that reinforce it.
Every aspect of the product is crucial to designing the best experience for our users in the market. Extensive research, testing and evaluation went into the designing of the kit. The packaging is designed to help pace the conversation as the unfolding process of menstruation begins. The kit is split between initial and secondary features to minimize information overload.
The website was designed to house all of the information of the brand, including purchasing, research, about me, packaging design, and a section called the “Menstruation Conversation” meant to educate about period stigma. Click the button below to explore the website more.
