Instagram Share Feature Launch
We launched Instagram Story Sharing as a feature on iOS on 9/1/2020, where iOS users were able to share workout stats, a class, or a Tag directly from the iOS Peloton App - expanding our Social Sharing platforms beyond Facebook and Strava. Instagram Stories has a 26% higher user weekly user base than Facebook.

Background
In-App social sharing is still nascent today. Out of 3MM+ Members, only ~108K Members have shared to Facebook, and ~45K have shared to Instagram Stories Sharing Workout Stats is by far the biggest use case, with >94% of shares to IG Stories being workout stats (followed by Classes, then Tags).
Our communication task was to: get Members across digital and connected fitness who have an iOS device tO learn about Instagram sharing and share content on IG Stories by highlighting social benefits and explaining how to share on IG.
